I’ve been waiting for the witness to appear on Hong Kong PS4 servers. No retail outlets stock the witness on CD. How does one obtain the game?

Any possibility that the work here will translate to an HDR patch for the Xbox One S?

In reply to BRANDON OBRYANT. Jonathan blow you are a God sir, great game. Didn't come with instructions so it's pretty difficult to play but I enjoy how I have to use my mind to find ways to pass those puzzles.

Hi Jonathan Blow and the whole team

I really want to play The Witness so badly

But I cannot deny the fact that I’m a physical lover//collector

So it would piss me off to buy it on digital for PS4

Only to find out a physical version is in the works, cause I wouldn’t mind to wait till a hypothetical release

So, there goes my question, any plans, you can share or I should go and grab it now that the game is on sale on the PS Store??

I’ve seen you’re used to answering the community and fans through the comments sections which I really appreciate and value

Not to say it really gives a good images of you, the developers to interact with us the players

So congrats on that

With that being said, I’ll sit here waiting for some good news.

Of course the answer it also could be no: The Witness will remain a digital game

Which, if that’s the case, I wouldn’t have any problem at all

What I’m afraid if some kind of response like: You can’t confirm anything at the moment, then I buy the game digitally just to find out a Physical edition has been announced due to release in the following moths

That would suck yes…

So there you go, cheer me up please!

Greetings from Spain and as always sorry for bad English

Great to see the care and support of the game on PS4, especially with bringing new features.

Out of curiosity, should Xbox One players be looking forward to an HDR update as well?

In reply to Barry. I am playing in 4K with Game mode enabled, I have no problem with other HDR games.

In reply to Jonathan Blow. The banding seems to be caused by the upscaler. Switching it off or setting the TV and/or AV reciever to game mode eliminates the problem.

Does PS4 pro output 1440p on 1440p monitors?

In reply to III-V. Yep, we have heard reports of this happening on some TVs and are looking into it.

Hello, I am seeing severe color banding issues with HDR on, particularly when looking back down the stair in the very beginning of the game. TV is set-up properly for HDR.

Thank you for your work on the Pro patch and for releasing it this quickly! And thank you for implementing the different display modes, because now I can _see_ what the difference between these is and select the one that _I_ like best.

In reply to Ian. English subtitles are currently broken; other languages work. We're going to patch it but we don't want to rush the patch out and accidentally break something!

Yea subtitles don’t seem to work in any of the pro modes. (1440p for sure)

Thank you! But is there an option to use the super sampled image quality if you only own an 1080p monitor?

Anyway: great game and one of the few that will stay with me my whole life.
